Beyond Disabilities provides Sponsored Residential and Supportive In-Home Services for people who have developmental and other disabilities. In-Home Supports are offered both in the person’s home and in their surrounding communities. These supports are normally provided one-on-one in the person’s home or out in the community by professional, trained staff. Each staff person receives extensive training including First Aid/CPR, behavior intervention, human rights, infection control and orientation in the characteristics of developmental and other disabilities.
We also provide Community Engagement and Group Day Services which provide opportunities for people to access and engage in community activities in creative ways. related to the use of community resources such as transportation to various community venues, shopping, accessing restaurants and partaking in social and recreational activities.
